Almonte, ON
 – The Ottawa Valley Centennials are proud to announce the hiring of Ryan DiMillo as Head Coach for the club’s inaugural 2025-26 season in the USPHL Premier. A respected figure in the Ottawa hockey community with a sharp hockey mind, DiMillo will play a key role in the Centennials’ bench leadership and player development efforts.

Hailing from Munster, Ontario, DiMillo has built a strong reputation through his work with Apex Hockey. Through Apex, Ryan has helped guide and develop elite-level prospects on their path to junior and collegiate hockey.

DiMillo brings with him a deep knowledge of systems, game preparation, and video analysis. Known for his ability to connect with players and communicate effectively, his approach emphasizes detail, discipline, and development; traits that will be crucial as the Centennials lay the foundation for sustained success in the USPHL.

In addition to his coaching pedigree, DiMillo has a deep playing background playing in Ottawa, Bradford, and Sweden. During his 5 seasons in the EOJHL, Ryan built an incredible 216 game career while amassing 142 points, including 2x 45+ point seasons. After aging out of the EOJHL, Ryan spent his 21-year-old season in the GMHL racking up 54 points in 29 games before heading off to Sweden the following season. His familiarity with playing the game at a high-level brings the experience needed to relate with the incoming Centennials athletes.

Team President John Miotla emphasized DiMillo’s importance in shaping the team’s identity. “This is a program that’s about more than just playing games; it’s about building character, preparing athletes for the next level, and doing things the right way,” said Miotla. “Ryan brings professionalism, dedication, and a true passion for the game. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our core leadership group.”

As the Ottawa Valley Centennials gear up for their debut season in the USPHL Premier, DiMillo brings both experience and vision, ready to develop the next wave of talent and compete at the highest level.
