Centennials Sign Kenyon Ratt for 2025-26 Season
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 1, 2025

Almonte, ON –
The Ottawa Valley Centennials are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born defenseman Kenyon Ratt for the 2025-26 USPHL Premier season. A dynamic talent from Rapid Lake, Quebec, Ratt joins the Centennials after an impressive 2024-25 season with Le Sommet International Hockey Academy U18 AAA program.

Ratt, who suited up in 51 games for Sommet, posted 27 points (3 goals, 24 assists) while showcasing his skills playing games in the USPHL Elite, NAPrepHL and UT1HL. Previously Kenyon has also had the opportunity to play for the Canadian International Hockey Academy AAA, and the Hillside School programs.

Standing at 6’0” 200 lbs, Ratt brings a rare blend of size, skill, and vision to the ice. His ability to read the play, protect the puck, and throw the body has made him a standout among his peers. The Centennials believe his physical tools and high ceiling make him a strong fit for the USPHL’s demanding style of play.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Kenyon to the Ottawa Valley Centennials,” said Team President John Miotla. “He’s a player who brings size, pace, and defensive upside, and we’re confident he’ll thrive in our development-focused environment. His time at Sommet helped prepare him for the next level, and we’re proud to be part of his continued growth.”

The Centennials continue to prioritize development, and the addition of Ratt further reinforces the club’s commitment to giving young, high-potential athletes a platform to succeed and earn future opportunities at the collegiate or NCDC levels.
