FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 11, 2025

Almonte, ON
– The Ottawa Valley Centennials are pleased to announce the signing of 2009-born forward K’den Womack for the 2025-26 USPHL Premier season. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, USA Womack joins the Centennials after playing with the Ontario Hockey Academy U17 squad in the CSSHLE  during the 2024-25 season.

Womack, who suited up in 23 league games for OHA, posted 4 points (3 goals, 1 assists) this season. Previously K’den has also had the opportunity to play for the Ottawa Jr. 67’s AAA.

Standing at 6’0” 180 lbs, Womack brings to the Centennials an offensive game, strong frame, and steady progression through a respected development system. His experience in the high-tempo CSSHLE U17 league has equipped him with the composure and structure necessary for a seamless transition to USPHL play.

“We’re excited to welcome K’dén to the Centennials,” said Team President John Miotla. “He’s got an ideal combination of size, offensive talent, and upside, especially for his age. Our program will be a great platform for him to continue maturing physically and tactically, while helping us solidify our roster for next season.”

With Womack’s addition, the Centennials reaffirm their commitment to nurturing promising young talent and providing players with opportunities to develop toward collegiate or NCDC careers.
